Regardless of your path to publication, whether you choose to query agents and follow the traditional path, self-publish your titles, or a mixture of the two, the value of a literary agent is well worth the 15% commission. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll discuss ways lit agents are helping propel the careers of self-published authors as well as their traditionally published clients. This workshop does not include feedback on individual work, but there will be a Q&A session at the end for writers to ask questions. Advance registration is required. Space is limited.

- The definition of a hybrid author
- The value of a literary agent, even if you publish some work on your own
- The reasons hybrid authorship is beneficial to both agent and client

Saritza Hernandez is the Sr. Literary Agent at the Corvisiero Literary Agency and known as the first literary agent to represent authors in the digital publishing landscape. She is also a geek with a passion for all things Star Wars, Star Trek, and Harry Potter. An avid coffee-drinker with a Kindle book and audiobook obsession, she enjoys a steaming cup (or several) of strong Cuban coffee while escaping into worlds and stories from all walks of life.
