Regardless of your path to publication, whether you choose to query agents and follow the traditional path, self-publish your titles, or a mixture of the two, the value of a literary agent is well worth the 15% commission. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll discuss ways lit agents are helping propel the careers of self-published authors as well as their traditionally published clients. This workshop does not include feedback on individual work, but there will be a Q&A session at the end for writers to ask questions. Advance registration is required. Space is limited.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The definition of a hybrid author
  • The value of a literary agent, even if you publish some work on your own
  • The reasons hybrid authorship is beneficial to both agent and client
